‘White-Glove’ Service Terms and Conditions
By ‘clicking through’ the ‘Purchase’ button for these Terms and Conditions, You, hereby, affirm; You understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and will abide by them, accordingly.
‘White Glove’ Pickup or Delivery shipments will be subject to all applicable, negotiated line-haul and accessorial charges, plus the charges, as described, below.
‘WHITE-GLOVE’ SERVICE: AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP OR DELIVERY: Includes fifteen (15) minutes on site, 1 or 2 man inside pickup from, or delivery to room of choice, packing or unpacking, and debris removal. Charges for ‘White Glove’ PICKUP (First Mile) OR DELIVERY (Final Mile) will be a flat fee of $200, per order, plus any extras, which, may apply, according to these Terms and Conditions.
WAIT TIME: When additional time is necessary that exceeds the time limits, as stated, the extra time rate will be $25.00 per each additional 15 minutes or fraction, thereof, per man. The time limits begin upon notification of arrival.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY: Light assembly is included in ‘White Glove’ Service with a time limit of 15 minutes. Should the time needed for light assembly exceed 15 minutes, additional charges per Wait Time shall apply. Light Assembly is defined as any assembly that requires minimal tools (screwdriver, wrench or allen key) and is sufficiently simple, as to allow the average person, with instructions, to assemble.
OVERSIZED PRODUCT: Shipments containing a single piece in excess of 400 pounds will be subject to an additional charge of $75.00. DISPOSAL OR MOVEMENT OF EXISTING MATTRESS: A charge of $65.00 per unit will apply for the movement of an old mattress within a residence, or the removal and disposal of an old mattress.
STAIR CARRY: Carrying up or down the first two flights of stairs is included. Additional stairs shall be charged at $3.00 per step. Minimum Charge $30.00.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS: When a “Special” is requested, the charge will be $75.00 or $.20 per pound, whichever is greater. A “Special” is determined when a pick up or delivery is requested outside of the standard schedule or delivery window. This would apply to either after-hour requests or to requests to pick up or deliver at a specific time.
SUNDAYS OR HOLIDAYS:
. 1) The carrier is not obligated to furnish pick up or delivery service on Sundays or holidays. The provisions of this item shall not be construed as obligating the carrier to pickup or deliver on Sundays or Holidays.
. 2) When carrier is requested to pick up or deliver freight on Sundays or holidays, such service will be subject to a charge of $58.45 per man, per hour, or fraction, thereof, beyond the MINIMUM 8 HOUR CHARGE OF $467.40 PER MAN, PER DAY. Such charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.
. 3) Computation time shall commence upon notification by the driver to the responsible representative that the vehicle or vehicles are available for loading or unloading at the premises, and shall end upon completion of loading or unloading and receipt by the driver of signed bill of lading or delivery receipt, with a minimum of 8 hours.
. 4) Charges must be paid by You, the Customer, before pick up or delivery will be made. You shall pay by phone, by calling Artistic Interiors’ Customer Support: 888-858-5255.
SATURDAYS AND NON-BUSINESS HOURS:
. 1) When consignor or consignee requests carrier to pick up or deliver freight on Saturdays or during non-business hours (before 6 a.m. and after 7 p.m. – Monday through Friday), such services will be subject to the following charges: Saturday service will be assessed a charge of $166.56 per man, per hour, or fraction, thereof, beyond the MINIMUM 8 HOUR CHARGE OF $333.12 PER MAN, PER DAY. Non business hours are subject to a charge of $166.56 per hour, or fraction thereof, with a 2 hour minimum. Such charges shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.

. 5) Non-Business Hours charges will not apply on deliveries that begin prior to 7 p.m., but, extend beyond that time.
